Hi there, I’m Vidya, and I’m thrilled to lead our executive search IT recruitment here at Yume. My career journey spans over 18 years, during which I’ve had the pleasure of working across the Banking and Finance, Telecommunications, and Logistics sectors.
I began my professional journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Madras University. Over the years, I’ve seamlessly merged my technical skills with a passion for strategic talent acquisition, which has allowed me to bring exceptional talent to some of the world’s leading organisations.
My career has taken me around the globe, from Melbourne to Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and India. This international experience has not only enriched my understanding of various cultural and business environments but also honed my ability to connect top-tier talent with companies in need. I specialise in filling critical technology and leadership roles, such as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), as well as roles in Security, Infrastructure, Application, Project Management, Data, and Digital.
I’ve had the honour of working with industry giants like Telstra, NBN, IBM, Citibank, SCB, Morgan Stanley, BNP and AIA. My focus has always been on aligning executive talent with strategic organisational goals, fostering growth, and driving innovation.
Beyond my professional endeavours, I am deeply committed to giving back to the community. I serve as the Program Director for Inspiring Girls Australia in Victoria, an initiative that aims to elevate the aspirations of young girls by connecting them with successful female role models.
